The world of online dating can be a daunting uitzicht for even the most composed and certain person. From misleading profile pics to coming across absolute nutters – it’s certainly not a place for the faint-hearted. Always laced with an factor of excitement and mystery, online dating apps like Happn are now the main ways for us busy worker types to meet people.
While there are a myriad of questions, the thickest problem I find is how to open a conversation with someone you’ve never met. Do you attempt and be funny? Or do you attempt and vertoning the person you’ve matched with that you’re just nice and regular (and undoubtedly not a sexual perverted looking for late-night booty)? I assure you it’s not effortless, delivering a good icebreaker takes skill and panache – whether you’re a man or a woman.
Here are Eighteen brilliant Happn icebreakers that will have you laughing, cringing, and sometimes doing both at the same time.
Three. Sometimes you just have a feeling.
Four. Sometimes they go down a treat
8. Nothing like a bit of political humour to get things going
9. This lady fucked the response
Ten. Or you could just menace to kidnap them.
11. The común treatment works too
12. Everybody loves a bargain
13. Nobody can fight back a good Harry Potter pun
14. Or take a pagina out of Keats’ book and woo them with poetry
15. This one is obviously a classic
16. I think this is meant to be
17. I’m not sure Andrew fairly has the sexy talk up lines down just yet
So after watching some brilliant (and not so brilliant) examples of the Happn icebreakers at work, do you think you can craft a classy opening line? While I’ve certainly taken some inspiration from thesis love-hunting hopefuls, I’m still not coaxed you can ritme a casual “Hey” or the always endearing, “If you were having a dinner party, and you could invite five famous people (alive or dead), who would you pick?” I mean, what woman te hier right mind could stand against a well-thought-out question like that? If words aren’t your thing however, some people have bot using music to communicate on Happn, and it seems to be working quiebro well.
